WHY DID I CHOOSE ODONTOLOGY?


When I was a child, I always had the feeling of helping people, of being able to be there for them, and that is why I wanted to study a career in health. Although biology cost me and I do not like it very much, it was never an obstacle to study something with her. I never wanted to study something mathematical or humanistic, I did not see myself in the future working on something like that, I just want a job where I interact with people and be able to solve their problems and help them. In high school, I was between medicine and dentistry, I knew that both careers would help me solve enigmas and doubts in people. When I gave the PSU, and obtained the results, I could choose medicine but in private universities, which I do not like at all and I did not have the resources to pay for it, but I wanted the Universidad de Chile university. I chose my other dream that was dentistry. When I enrolled and took the first year, it cost me, and I was not so motivated to study this. However, when I went to volunteer work, I was fascinated, I fell in love with the carrer and decided to stay and finish this beautiful career.I am currently very determined to finish this career and be able to help people solve their problems, that is what motivates me the most, since it does not matter if I have studied medicine, nursing or dentistry, the goal is the same, is to be in this world to change the lives of people.

WHO AM I?

 I'm Diego Berrios,  I was born in Santiago of Chile,  I am 19 years old and student dentistry on the Universidad de Chile university. MY FAVOURITE PICTURE

T his is my favourite photography. it was taken in February 2018 during my vacation. The place is in the south of Chile, in the tenth region, called "region of the lakes". The landscape that is observed in the rainbow hill, located in the Cochamó valley. The site is very special for me, it was a unforgettable experience to climb this hill. The trek climbing presented highs a lows, there were many dangers and very difficult adventures but being with friends everything is more rewarding and harmonious. When we arrive at the top we saw a landscape too beautiful, besides we were more than 1500 meters high, it was a celebration to have achieved that feat in 4 hours of climb. These vacations were spectacular, i met many people and toures beautiful places. I had very stranges aventures, good and bad, but the best thing that happened to me was to meet my girlfriend on this trip. My last blog!! :o

Hello friends, this will be my last publication through this platform. As we can see, the semester is ending and the topics must be completed. Well, I do not know what to write in my last blog, at this moment I can not think about any topic, but as all my colleagues did, I will write about my "blog experience" this semester. I had never written blogs, and I had to do it this semester, and in English, I found it interesting. I feel it is a good way to express what we feel, see and interact. Every time I write a blog I try to do it in the best way, but I still find it difficult. I think it is a good tool to practice English, we acquire more vocabulary and we improve our writing. If everything continues its course, and I move to the next level of English. I would like to write about more interesting and entertaining topics, where I can express everything I feel and especially improve my English.
